YTA started in Hayden, ID in 1984 at the deregulation of 'Ma Bell' as Your Telephone Alternative. In 1991 that name became YTA Business Communications, Inc.

In 1993 YTA joined a national telecom franchise called CommWorld. With this powerful network behind us, we became known as 'CommWorld of the Inland Empire'. Since then the franchise has been dissolved although CommWorld former franchisees do still operate around the country.

YTA Business Communications, Inc has really never left. We operated as a dba (doing business as). But now with our roots intact we are returning to our parent name - YTA Business Communications, Inc!
